Well there is actually two ways.
The first is the free method in which you simply put in an application to become a ClickFunnels affiliate, whilst this option may seem like the best I would advise against it and here’s why.
If you are signing up to become an affiliate to a software that you don’t actually use or believe in this will likely show through in your writing, talking, pitches (However you are promoting ClickFunnels) and ultimately it limits how helpful and knowledgeable you can be on the topic. This can have a huge impact on your sales and conversions as any good marketer will tell you… You need to offer value and help your customers make a purchasing decision.
The other issue with choosing to do the free method is you will need to have some form of promoting ClickFunnels and ClickFunnels will ultimately decide if they want you promoting their software through these means. Common forms will be things such as websites, blogs consultancy/ agency businesses. Funnel Scripts is a joint venture project with Jim Edwards the king of copyright. Jim Edwards used to create scripts for companies who were hosting webinars and it used to be a lengthy process. The most popular methods are through blogs/ websites, youtube or other video platforms, directly through word of mouth, or indirectly through using the software for your clients in an agency or consultancy capacity.
The best ways I have found to promote ClickFunnels is educating the users and ultimately ensuring they succeed when they use the software. How Do ClickFunnels Pay Their Affiliates Commission?
Currently ClickFunnels are set up to pay their affiliates in one of 2 ways. The first way is by bank transfer normally to a paypal account. The second method is by cheque. I would strongly suggest always going bank transfer where possible as this decreases the risk of your money get lost or held up in the postal system.
It also lands in your bank much quicker allowing you to re-invest and keep your business growing and flourishing.
As touched on above when you first get someone to sign up ClickFunnels holds that money for 45 days which allows the customer a refund period, after this time your commissions will be paid every 2 weeks. The dates for me has never been an exact science however I believe they aim to make all payments by the 2nd and 15th of each month.
One thing to note if you are a new affiliate is you must sign up to tipalti (you will notice the annoying pop up at the bottom right if you haven’t signed up already) this is their payment gateway they use. Once registered on Tipalti you will need to fill out your appropriate Tax forms. I know these may seem daunting at first but trust me they really aren’t as scary as they seem.
Ultimately there is one tax form for US Citizens/ Tax payers and another form for everyone else.

Honest Review of ClickFunnels Affiliate Programme
I was using ClickFunnels for quite a few months prior to becoming an affiliate for them. So I have been an affiliate for them now for a few months and I am just about to hit the $1000.00 mark in affiliate commissions.. So how have I found being an affiliate for ClickFunnels
Honestly it has been fantastic from a payment and customer support point of view. I have never had any issues receiving my commissions and they are extremely assiduous in notifying us as affiliates and users if there is any expected changes.
Now with that being said there are a few things to note. Firstly ClickFunnels is quite a hard sell due to it being fairly high ticket. However it is only high ticket if you look solely at the price and not at the value you get for the price. ClickFunnels is an extremely effective software and comes with an unbelievable amount of features and tools for the money.
The second thing to note is although they say they pay commissions out every two weeks currently I have only ever been paid out on commissions on a monthly basis. However this may be because all of my sign ups happened within a week of each other so I haven’t got a diverse date range of commissions.
How Much Can I Expect To Make As a ClickFunnels Affiliate?
This question really is like asking how long is a piece of string. To answer this question simply it really depends on a few factors
- Your skill set in marketing
- Knowledge of ClickFunnels
- How determined you are to succeed
- How much money or time you have to invest
With that being said you can earn a small side income or if you are very successful there are people earning in excess of $20,000.00 a month from ClickFunnels alone.
Obviously if you have a background in marketing or great knowledge of ClickFunnels you definitely put yourself ahead of the competition and will be able to earn a lot more a lot quicker.
If you haven’t got all the experience and knowledge, then you will need to be determined to learn and accept setbacks as trust me there will be a lot of them and it’s a slow long road until you start seeing real money.
Lastly you need either money or time. With the help of money you can short cut your way to results however with time you can build more sustainable assets.
